Sealed battery maintenance free YT12A Yuasa produces high quality replacement batteries since 1979. Sound, well-built, higher starting capacity and longer life are the overall characteristics. During production, the battery is filled with battery acid. That makes this battery really maintenance free. Thanks to the applied AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology, your battery has a significantly longer life span because water loss is virtually impossible. The standard features of each Yuasa are always the same: a polypropylene cover to avoid any user damage, a complete and reliable seal against leaks and a long life. Starting batteries are not universal. This battery is only suitable for these bikes. Our product finder is nearly perfect. Before you prepare the battery for use, make sure it matches the battery you are replacing. Also make sure that it will fit in the vehicle. This battery may be mounted horizontally. Replacing a battery yourself is not difficult at all. The trick is to avoid short circuits. When disassembling the battery, first disconnect the - terminal, then the + terminal. When assembling the battery, first connect the + terminal, then the - terminal. Preparing the battery for use is relatively easy. Carefully follow the manual that comes with the battery. You can also find it here on this page. Remember that ANY battery should be charged with a battery charger before first use. Riding during the winter months is not for everyone. In that case a trickle charger is essential. Lubricate the battery terminals with petroleum jelly to prevent corrosion. RAD offers a 1-year warranty on any manufacturing defects of the battery. Steel plates MES575-7 The steel washers are sold in complete kits and are manufactured with great precision from high quality steel. The dimensions correspond exactly to those of the original spare parts. The low friction properties guarantee a long service life. A more stable pressure point results in better clutch control. Attention! If the washers are discoloured and deformed due to overheating, they should be replaced.

Brake disc MST288RAC Brake discs are ALWAYS sold per unit and TRW offers a number of options with regard to design. Standard brake discs are, well, standard. Dry but decent. The design of the RAC brake discs is more varied and playful. They are lighter and the extra cooling provided by the special design makes sure they can withstand the heat better. Ideal for more extreme circumstances. A fixed or a floating design is not always a choice: the back brake disc is fixed not matter what, only in the front you can opt for both IF your motorcycle is equipped for it. This is the case with a number of BMW models but certainly not all. The benefit of floating brake discs is that they can resist higher temperatures better. The choice for off-road-specific brake discs is worth mentioning as well: TRW developed EC-brake discs for the advanced gardening and mud works. The steel alloy used here, is built to last. The design looks good but it's more eminent that controllability and brake reaction approach near-perfection. General, about TRW brake discs TRW offers brake pads and braking systems for the aftermarket that allow motorcycles and other vehicles to engage in supple, safe and powerful driving. And braking. Especially the latter is what matters most: as a motorbike rider you want to have a reliable braking solution - something which has been provided by TRW for about a century now. One element that's quite important in this phenomenon, is the brake disc. It can be said that the TRW units differ from the others. All the TRW brake discs are homologated, even if they were made for scooters. They have a slower wear and a TRW brake disc will outlast alternative aftermarket brake discs by 30%. The fact that TRW brake discs are made of tempered steel will have something to do with that. It creates brake discs that are resistant to distortion, all the while not giving corrosion the chance to form thanks to a special, new type of alloy. The precision used to grind the TRW brake discs (tolerance of 1/100mm) prevents vibration and ensures that the brake pads wear more evenly.

TRK46 Trekker Monokey top or side case aluminum cover - 46 liters This GIVI Trekker top and side case is part of the Monokey series. This is one case in specific, which can be mounted both as top case and side case. The Trekker range consists of a number of different sizes of top and side cases, sometimes even interchangeable, to put together a set according to your own wishes. The TRK46N cases can be combined with the Trekker 33 (side and top case) or Trekker 52 (top case) to form a robust ensemble. This often goes hand in hand with words like a bit bulky and excessive, but in this case that doesn't apply. On the contrary. Thanks to an innovative design, the Trekker combination remains remarkably light and compact, while storage space is still impressive. In this version, the case largely has the typical aluminum color. The Trekker side cases can be opened in two ways: you can open the entire lid or you can only open the upper, smaller lid. This smaller lid is very handy when you want to take something out of the case quickly without having to open it completely. Each case comes standard with an elastic band to prevent the contents of the case from scattering around. The Trekker is quickly and easily clicked onto a specially designed mounting kit for your bike and locked into place. A single key is used to operate a locking mechanism that both closes the case and locks it onto the case plate. This Trekker has a capacity of 46 liters for a lot of luggage. Even a helmet is no problem. Who would rather keep it more compact, should look at the Trekker 33 as a side case. Interesting for asymmetrically built motorcycles: by attaching the 33 to the side with the exhaust and the 46 to the side without exhaust, the problem of asymmetry is often solved. There are a number of optional accessories for this case: Inner bag: the handy inner bag T484C fits in this case. An inner bag has the great advantage that you can remove all the luggage from the case in one maneuver. If you want to check in at a hotel, you don't have to take the entire case to the room. Simply remove the inner bag (with everything inside) from your case and you're done... Backrest: your passenger will definitely prefer the soft back rest E118 to the hard case. Thermal stainless steel drinking bottle: real adventurers are sometimes thirsty. With the E162 holder you attach a thermal stainless steel drinking bottle to the side of this Outback top case. Safety lock: this case is already standard equipped with a safety lock. Do you have multiple cases? Replace all the locks on all the cases and lock them all with the same key. Plastic Jerrycan: a water, oil or petrol supply of 2.5l can be carried in the GIVI Jerrycan. With the E149 holder in stainless steel, the Jerrycan is easily attached to this Trekker side case. Attachment for luggage net: to attach the hooks of a luggage net T10N, there is a kit E125 with four attachment eyes. Additional luggage rack: the universal plastic S150 rack allows additional luggage to be carried on top. A metal luggage rack E120B is also available. Maintenance tips: because this case contains panels made of aluminum it needs a little more maintenance than a case made entirely of plastic. For cleaning these cases we recommend S100 Moto Wash. NEVER use maintenance products that contain acids or other corrosive agents. Watertightness: the GIVI side cases and top cases are not waterproof. They were awarded an IPX4 rating. Having the right expectations always helps prevent disappointment.
