Sealed battery maintenance free YT12B Yuasa produces high quality replacement batteries since 1979. Sound, well-built, higher starting capacity and longer life are the overall characteristics. During production, the battery is filled with battery acid. That makes this battery really maintenance free. Thanks to the applied AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology, your battery has a significantly longer life span because water loss is virtually impossible. The standard features of each Yuasa are always the same: a polypropylene cover to avoid any user damage, a complete and reliable seal against leaks and a long life. Friction plates MCC612-9 The clutch plates by TRW Lucas are characterised by their long durability and the fact that their proper and efficient functioning stays on par during that time. An optimal power transmission is guaranteed, even during extreme demands because these are highly-precise clutch discs with organic friction material. The composition of the friction material can be compared to the original friction plates. The optimised dimensions warrant an increased transmission of the engine power. Every set always contains the right number of clutch plates needed to replace the clutch of your motorcycle. Any steel intermediate plates and clutch springs are not supplied. Besides the standard friction plates, TRW also offers specific, reinforced friction plates for motorcycles that are required to perform to the extreme. Thanks to the so-called 'intelligent materials mix', including carbon fibre, those reinforced friction places are better suited in more extreme circumstances than the standard versions. A longer lifespan is evidently combined with high friction properties. Excellent material for competitions thanks to a high controllability, a stabile pressure point and minimal performance loss at maximum torque. You can expect top performances, even at high temperatures. Whoever expects their motorcycle to be 'high performance', specifically the clutch, will probably go for racing versions. Thanks to the use of a high carbon fibre content in the friction material, these friction plates are better suited for the high requirements set by the circuit. High temperatures have less impact, resulting in a longer lifespan all-over. When the topic is optimal performance at high speeds and with significant power, these plates are the best suited.

Steel plates MES398-6 The steel washers are sold in complete kits and are manufactured with great precision from high quality steel. The dimensions correspond exactly to those of the original spare parts. The low friction properties guarantee a long service life. A more stable pressure point results in better clutch control. Attention! If the washers are discoloured and deformed due to overheating, they should be replaced.

How to mount the front sprocket correctly The markings (AFAM stamp and article number) must always be facing outwards, away from the engine. If you can't see them, you're doing it wrong. If there is not enough room for a stamp and an article number, there should be an arrow on the gearwheel. This arrow indicates the direction of the rotation and it should always be visible on the outside.
