Brake disc MSW204RAC Brake discs are ALWAYS sold per unit and TRW offers a number of options with regard to design. Standard brake discs are, well, standard. Dry but decent. The design of the RAC brake discs is more varied and playful. They are lighter and the extra cooling provided by the special design makes sure they can withstand the heat better. Ideal for more extreme circumstances. A fixed or a floating design is not always a choice: the back brake disc is fixed not matter what, only in the front you can opt for both IF your motorcycle is equipped for it. This is the case with a number of BMW models but certainly not all. The benefit of floating brake discs is that they can resist higher temperatures better. The choice for off-road-specific brake discs is worth mentioning as well: TRW developed EC-brake discs for the advanced gardening and mud works. The steel alloy used here, is built to last. The design looks good but it's more eminent that controllability and brake reaction approach near-perfection. General, about TRW brake discs TRW offers brake pads and braking systems for the aftermarket that allow motorcycles and other vehicles to engage in supple, safe and powerful driving. And braking. Installing an AFAM chain kit can be done super easy and 100% correct with the recommended Easy Riv-5. This small tool makes sure that the connecting link is always mounted with the correct play. It is also the perfect tool to rivet the locking links correctly and flawlessly. How to mount the front sprocket correctly The markings (AFAM stamp and article number) must always be facing outwards, away from the engine. If you can't see them, you're doing it wrong. If there is not enough room for a stamp and an article number, there should be an arrow on the gearwheel. This arrow indicates the direction of the rotation and it should always be visible on the outside.

The Monorack fits neatly onto the motorcycle's existing mounting points and allows fitment of either a Monokey or Monolock case. This kit does NOT include a top case plate. Depending on the type of case required, the correct plate must be ordered separately. In combination with a GIVI Mono-case, you order the XM5 or the XM7 plate. To combine with a GIVI Monolock case, order the XM5M or the XM6M plate.

This specific GIVI assembly kit contains a top case holder which is easy to mount on scooters and motorcycles without an original carrier and with a limited number of mounting points. The assembly instructions can be found both on this page and in the box. The mounting kit allows to mount these Monolock top cases and fits perfectly on these motorcycles or scooters. This kit does not include a top case plate, because that is standard included with every Monolock top case. We are happy to share this tip: only tighten the bolts in the final stage, when everything is in the right place. This way you always have the possibility to 'shift' a bit to make everything fit perfectly.

This specific assembly kit of GIVI contains two side or saddlebag brackets which you can mount to your motorcycle yourself. Side or saddlebag brackets are mounted to specific attachment points on the motorcycle and ensure that the saddlebags are better supported and do not sag. In this way a sufficient distance is created between the bags and the wheel, which certainly benefits safety. The set allows to mount these side or saddlebags and fits perfectly on these motorcycles. TRK33 Trekker Monokey top or side case aluminum cover - 33 liters This GIVI Trekker top and side case is part of the Monokey series. This is one case in specific. The Trekker range consists of a number of different sizes of top and side cases, sometimes even interchangeable, to put together a set according to your wishes. The TRK33N side cases can be combined with the Trekker 46 or Trekker 52 top cases to form a robust ensemble. This often goes hand in hand with words like a bit bulky and excessive, but in this case that doesn't apply. On the contrary. Thanks to an innovative design, the Trekker combination remains remarkably light and compact, while storage space is still impressive. In this version, the case largely has the typical aluminum color. The Trekker side cases can be opened in two ways: you can open the entire lid or you can only open the upper, smaller lid. This smaller lid is very handy when you want to take something out of the case quickly without having to open it completely. Each case comes standard with an elastic band to prevent the contents of the case from scattering around. The Trekker is quickly and easily clicked onto a mounting kit specially designed for your bike and locked into place. A single key operates a locking mechanism that both closes and locks the case to the case plate. This 33-liter Trekker will hold a lot of luggage but won't store a helmet. Who wants larger side cases, better aim for the Trekker 46 (as side case). The Trekker side cases (TRK33N) can also be used as a top case on a Monokey plate thanks to their versatility. Thermal stainless steel drinking bottle: real adventurers are sometimes thirsty. With the E162 holder you attach a thermal stainless steel drinking bottle to the side of this Outback top case. Safety lock: this case is already standard equipped with a safety lock. Do you have multiple cases? Replace all the locks on all the cases and lock them all with the same key. Plastic Jerrycan: a water, oil or petrol supply of 2.5l can be carried in the GIVI Jerrycan. With the E149 holder in stainless steel, the Jerry can is easily attached to this Trekker side case. Attachment for luggage net: to attach the hooks of a luggage net T10N, there is a kit E125 with four attachment eyes. Maintenance instructions: since this case is made of untreated aluminum and other parts, it requires a little more maintenance than a plastic case. For cleaning these cases we recommend S100 Moto Wash. NEVER use maintenance products containing acids or other corrosive agents. Such products cause dark stains that are very difficult to remove afterwards. Regular treatment with the S100 color refresher will ensure that your case always looks like new. E109 back rest for E370 Black The more comfortable the passenger, the more enjoyable the ride. It is a universal fact, known by every experienced rider. Givi developed a specific back rest for each top case to increase the comfort on the back seat. Each one is of high quality, but each has its own specific characteristics and especially: dimensions. So be sure to check which back rest fits your top case. This black, comfortable, foam-rubbered and qualitative version is compatible with the E370 top case. In the package you'll find, besides the actual back rest, the right fixing bolts and a template to drill the two necessary holes in the top case. Lithium-Ion battery LTX5L-BS This Shido battery is a private label, manufactured by one of the largest battery suppliers in Japan. Shido batteries are produced according to very strict quality standards. If you are looking for a problem-free battery, you have found it! The Shido Lithium batteries may be smaller than the original one in your bike. If this is the case, the Shido comes with snap-on spacer blocks. These spacer blocks change the dimensions of your battery to make it fit your bike, despite its smaller size. Shido Lithium batteries contain four 3.2 volt lifePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells connected in series. Together this delivers 12.8 volts, perfect for use as a starter battery for motorcycles. The electronic battery management system (BMS) distributes the charge evenly among the four cells. Thanks to a built-in small resistor, this lithium battery can generate a very high starting power. Powerful and fast, in other words. The battery status can be checked at any time by means of a push button. 3 leds = Voltage > 13,15V: battery fully charged and ready for use 2 leds = Voltage > 13V: battery can start the engine but charging is advised 1 led = Voltage < 12,8V: battery needs to be charged Lithium batteries offer a superior starting capacity and are up to 30% lighter than traditional batteries. A longer life (no sulfation) and lower self-discharge are also undeniable advantages. Attention: lithium batteries are more sensitive to freezing temperatures. In this case, it is advisable to turn on the lights for 10 to 15 seconds to warm up the battery before starting the motorcycle. Starting batteries are not universal. This battery is only suitable for these bikes. Our product finder is nearly perfect. Before you prepare the battery for use, make sure it matches the battery you are replacing. Also make sure it will fit in the vehicle. A lithium battery - unlike traditional batteries - can be mounted in any position. Even upside down. Replacing a battery yourself is not difficult at all. The trick is to avoid short circuits. When disassembling the battery, first disconnect the - terminal, then the + terminal. When assembling the battery, first connect the + terminal, then the - terminal. Preparing the battery for use is relatively easy. Carefully follow the manual that comes with the battery. You can also find it here on this page. Check the battery voltage by means of the button on the battery. If 3 LEDs light up, your battery is ready for use. If only 1 or 2 LEDs are illuminated, the battery must be charged using a special lithium charger! Riding during the winter months is not everyone's cup of tea. In that case a - indeed, specific - trickle charger is essential. Recharging is very fast. Attention! Lithium batteries cannot withstand a charge current above 14.4V. Especially old engines sometimes deliver such voltages at high revs, with all its consequences. And no, the results won't make you happy. With older motorcycles, it is wise to test the charging current of your motorcycle with a Testmate. Extra attention should be paid to an always-on-circuit accessory (an alarm for instance): a lithium battery quickly loses its charge when the bike is stored for a long time while devices still use the battery, even up to four times faster than you are used to with an lead-acid battery. In that case a - yes, specific - trickle charger can do an excellent job.
